It was here to stay since times immemorial,
It never skipped a heartbeat.
It was an inherent moment of sadness,
That lasted a bit longer,
Long enough to last a lifetime.
Since times unknown to me,
Since seasons failed to touch it.
Has renewed itself with moving breeze,
A thought of despair to last a lifetime.
The fear unknown, now known to me,
Moves from dawn to dusk,
From twilight to starlight,
The phantom of truth shows itself.
Have kept those promises, which they forgot,
Have slept with its shadow since times immemorial.
